That's not even getting into it's other features being a +2 weapon that can cast Pass without Trace at will that also gives +2 to spell attacks. Still, it should probably be at least be Very Rare. It's clearly typed as rare just because it's restricted to druids. But that is seriously beyond the scope of a rare magic item. I get that most people will be adventuring and trees might die, or you could be in an area without trees. How on earth is that balanced? In 30 days you have 30 awakened trees, potentially more if you are really nice to your tree buddies. Turns out the thing can cast awaken basically 1/day.
